Lost Cause has some of the starkest atmosphere of his albums. On The Way is similar to it in many ways

Hard to say really, because he doesn't directly say anything about it on Khartoum but (anecdotally) i think the lyrics on the album are similar to the writings of Al-ghazali that I've read. Definitely check him out too if you're into philosophy. Even though his writings were hijacked by radical Islam to promote anti-empiricism they don't reflect that at all. He touches on a view similar to Hume but 1000 years earlier
