You have a sizeable vinyl collection, even in comparison to most on /mu/.

I have 1 record
I was going to start collecting but I saw it was expensive and I didn't care that much
That cover looks cool how's the music?

Eh, I usually listen to different stuff when I'm outside so I don't know
I still have to listen to that Grouper, I remember people saying it has more 'acoustic' sounds, how's that?

It's an album of "modern" American Primitivism guitarists. It's pretty good, definitely something I'll listen to again on a lazy weekend.

Prefers long songs over short ones.

It depends on the genre I guess
That looks like a techno album (or ep, because you know)
And because of the size I guess it's from Bandcamp
So yeah, I'm guessing you like to dig Bandcamp releases
>>60989644
Could never get into american primitivism
Ok I haven't tried very hard but still
The name of the genre... it bothers me
I mean, wouldn't 'american primitivism' be native american music?

Collab between Bardo Pond and Roy Montgomery, droney psych.

And I just downloaded the first picture i found of it. Not really deep into bandcamp actually.

>>60989736
Look up the definition of primitivism instead of just assuming you know what it means

Didn't even know Scaruffi said something about that album, so no, not a believer. It's not a bad album though.

Not even close. I like a lot of different things. The last thing I would be considered would be scenester.

>I mean, wouldn't 'american primitivism' be native american music?
Seeing as how it takes its influence from styles that were specific to African Americans and white Americans, styles that couldn't be found in Europe or Africa I don't exactly see the problem.

"Fahey referred to it as 'American Primitive' after the 'French Primitive' painters, meaning untutored."
