Sadly everything is considered art. It kinda dilutes it all really. I like some musicians who keep things simple or kind of simple (Ramones, Bob Dylan, etc.) and paintors, sculptures, etc. who keep things simple (Andy Warhol, etc.). But what's the point when every fag can do it? It dilutes the market. I also like people who elaborate on their creativity and make impressive works. I can enjoy both sides of the spectrum in certain ways but it feels like art is getting stale.

Most artists love referring to themselves as artists and love talking about their art. I don't begrudge em it.
