Run Run Run is honestly my favourite track. I think it's because it doesn't really stick out, it perfectly captures everything I like about the sound/aesthetic of the album but it's so effortless compared to a song like say Heroin where you can really tell how hard Reed was trying to project the whole cool boho artist thing

Yeah, don't want to shit on Heroin too much because it's still pretty great musically and I still like the aesthetic he was shooting for and he nails it and giving rock music a hard time for being sophomoric kind of misses the point I think. I could have picked any of the other songs where it's "this is a rock song about [edgy topic here], isn't that cool!" and the same would be true, the whole album still holds up, I'm just a little more self-conscious of it now that I'm not a teenager anymore
