souvlaki is boring in a good way though. loveless has an interesting atmosphere but falls flat where the songwriting isn't half as great as the production. most of the first half of loveless is pretty w/e. i wouldn't enjoy it much if i didn't play guitar.
idk i think they're very different records with the only major similarity being the production style so who cares.

you should check out some of the concert footage of their last tour... I think the years of touring as Mojave 3 helped them out. Kind of beefed-up the songs a bit.
