Do you agree with Slash, /mu/?
Slash never said that. And no, I don't agree. This is a very shallow observation, and assumes the only thing of value in music is "my meaning" and "my lyrics" instead of melodies and musicality. Which I will gladly concede One Direction doesn't really have, but it's not so much about them as it is just being a bad argument.
i don't see how true musicians can't live alongside teen-pop bullshit

One Direction is okay live. Not my taste but it's a lot more exciting listening to their live versions.
>>60925411
but slash will collaborate with literally anyone for money. if one direction paid him to show up on their song right now, he'd accept it
>>60925524
Hence: He didn't actually say that.

>Musically Illiterate Teenage Girls
>>60925411
Slash is a good musician, despite his abysmal solo career, he knows how to play the guitar, probably the most underrated overrated guitarist
>>60925606
I didn't care for Snakepit, but I rather like his new solo stuff.
He says that as if GNR /wasn't/ meaningless and repetitive and meant for teenage girls.
How can they be the new justin bieber when he's still around and charting?
>>60925688
No, he doesn't. He never said that.
>>60925411
Dave Grohl said that though

>you weren't sentient in 1994
>you've never seen them live, in person, from their Appetite days
