>>60911192

Not that I don't love it, of course
>>60911206
folk metal
>>60911206
edm
>>60911192
what is going places even considered? ive seen "noise" thrown around when describing it, but ive always seen it as primarily ambient
>>60911206
electro swing
>>60911324
I call it droney noise
or noisy ambient
>>60911206
white supermacist power electronics

This album is fantastic though.
>>60911441
entry level =/= bad.
Heaven or Las Vegas would probably be the traditional "entry level" dream pop album, but considering the genre today I think bands like Beach House are more likely for fans to start with.
>>60911360
ambient noise
>>60911441
got me into black metal and now it's all i've listened to for the last week so this is pretty accurate, maybe deafhaven would be a good pick also since that's gotten alot of people I know into blackgaze
and yeah kinoko teikoku is usually people's first japanese shoegaze

Good entry level choices.
>>60911192
I guess that if I have to choose an all around favourite band it would be ASMZ, which males the entry level choice harder because that would be pic related
>>60911655
>inb4 males
>inb4 im drunk and misread OP. it's about genres, not bands.
Don't ever trust me (not that I'm a tripfag)
In terms of accessibility and popularity, this is the clear choice.
>>60911808
>having progressive rock as your favorite genre
It's good and all, but come on man.
I'm sure no one expected this one.
Even entry level first wave is great
>>60911843
What's your favorite genre, anon?
>>60911843
>judging someone's favorite genre instead of the album they picked
It's personal taste, man.
>>60911843
What's wrong with prog?
still a banger
Either pic or Scum by Napalm Death depending on what they usually like.
>>60911192
that cover is too similar to alien observer by grouper. it keeps tricking me. i should definitely check it out though.
>>60911441
filosofem and bergtatt by ulver are such intense and captivating records even at first listen.
>>60911192
i really like that album
it feels like going trought earth or something like that
we'll all float on
all right
all ready
we'll all float on
no don't you worry
even if things end up a bit too heavy
we'll all float on
>>60913551
GNFPWLBN is completely different than their other stuff though
I was going to post The Doors - s/t but that album is more acid than psychedelic Tbh.
Supersilent- 5
>>60913748
>more acid than psychedelic
do you hear yourself
>>60913876
no because I typed that
>>60912083
Shitposting is my faveourite.
>>60915123
Well memed
Vibe on good chum
>>60911898
This isn't entry level shoegaze,
>>60913795
catchiest drone I have ever heard desu
Not my favorite but it's a good starting point.
>>60911906
I'd say acid bath would be better.
>>60915180
uhhh
?
>>60915285
What would an exit level album from this genre be?
>>60913748
Are you kidding me? In what way is Piper more accessible than Sgt Pepper?
