I like them, if that means anything to you
I want to like Swans. I want to LOVE Swans.
But the tracks I love the most are the streamlined ones, like Screenshot and Oxygen, and that makes me a filthy pleb. I love Giras voice and the instrumentation and their general esthetic but sometimes I feel that their albums are 20% songs I like and 80% drone. If those percentages were switched, Swans would be my favourite band of all time.
