Hey guys, before i begin, i apologize for this only being somewhat musically relevant.
>I used to have really bad depression and listen to Radiohead alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the time, especially Kid A, I'm talking nearly 24/7.
>My parents eventually forced me into shrinks and shit
>Had to take anti-depressants and they told me to only listen to upbeat music.
>Recently decided to revisit my old love, and I find I can no longer connect to it emotionally or otherwise.
Is there any way to get back to where I belong(pretty sure its chemically impossible for my brain to allow depression again)? Has this happened to anyone?
Sometimes you grow out of music just like we grow out of everything else. But don't be sad about it because you are just evolving, listen to more music and find your new 'kid a' that will connect to you just as much as that did when you were younger.

I feel you. While i really like this album, i feel like not every track is fully developped, its isnt that great, especially in second half an those weird rock songs, its way too cold and apathic. I just cant see Kid A as more than sum of influences. Its 8/10 easily but i cant understand peoples who find it amazing or revolutionary

Shrooms are fine, just do it with some friends. Definitely only do it if you're comfortable emotionally otherwise you'll be tapping into some wild shit
