all /mu/ does is shitpost whenever a person mentions a certain artist.
conversations are never based around understanding the music because /mu/tants don't care about the music or the background to it. they're about shitposting.

What's to discuss? The backstory is cool how the artist managed to do it all by himself. Its an interesting concept. Trippy beats. Spotty with the lyrics. Good smoking music. This has all already been established. Bad things about it? Thing is, most of the people on here are insecure 18 year olds and under who are terrified that their serious opinions on something be shat on by other users, so they resort to shitposting instead. Which breeds even more shitposting. It's the demographic of this place that's ruining it. And the anonymity too, of course, but that's self-explanatory.
I don't know where the fuck you would go to discuss music seriously. Maybe reddit? Not even joking. Although they for the most part have pretty horrible taste over there, at least they're discussing it in a serious, civil manner in contrast to the anarchistic shithole that is /mu/.
