He's going through a contrarian phase. Gave Divers 3 and Artangel or whatever a 1 with no review at all. Meanwhile he's been listening to a lot of classics and handing out 4+ like candy. The only newer stuff he gives good ratings to is "electronic" like Jaar, OPN, even the mediocre Jamie XX. He has no credibility.

And that isn't entirely true. He's been praising the new Beach House plus some new hip hop and black metal records. He gave the Jamie xx album a negative review. i think the only track he liked was "loud places."
