eerie, slow-paced, modern chamber music like this? i love this a lot but i can't seem to find anything similar. sounds like it'd be an old black-and-white movie soundtrack or something.
>Yeah I listen to good music
>morton feldman, loren connors, the list goes on

feldman is poseur-core

Posting "poseur-core" makes you a poseur, son.

does this mean there's someone who does what feldman does better? if so i'd love to listen to them.

maybe vaughan williams symphony no. 7? also his influences, Stefan Wolpe, Christian Wolfe, and Anton Webern make plenty of eerie music, especially on piano
>>60840947
oh shit, i have vaughan williams' symphonies downloaded and i liked his first couple ones but yeah i'll listen to his 7th. stefan wolpe is a name i see often too.

Just because it attracts flies doesn't mean it's shit

nice. VW's symphonies are all pretty great, and it helps that he has sets that are very distinctive from others (kinda like Sibelius or Mahler, though I don't think he's at that level)
for eerie general in modern music, theres always spectral stuff from Grisey, Murail, and Poppe too.

word, thanks bro, much appreciated. yeah i'll start with VW's 7th and work through those other dudes you mentioned.

no problem. idk why other people blindly hate music because of some non existent social stereotypes
