i'm just getting into emo, i actually don't know if it's considered emo even. i listen to a lot of menzingers, modern baseball, jeff rosenstock, and that kind of just noisy shit. but i don't really know where to go from here.

i would consider modern baseball pop punk but i'm not familiar with those other artists. there's a lot of fluidity between pop punk, emo, post hardcore, skramz. personally i like a lot of 90s post hardcore/skramz - i hate myself, indian summer, and cap'n jazz (fuck, i forgot to list them in my pic) are good examples. american football is also really good twinkly stuff but sometimes overrated. those are all quite different than modern baseball but imo a lot better
