People who compare DG to Blackie and Dalek are trying so hard it makes me cringe. I don't get it, do people still feel "clever" namedropping the only two other artists ever to be labeled as "industrial hip hop"? None of these artists sound similar to each other.
In a music landscape where there are thousands upon thousands of shitty, derivative indie rock or hip-hop or house producers, people feel compelled to criticize one of the few groups that has actually been able to create a unique sound, for being a ripoff of all things, by naming these same two artists in every DG thread. Compare anything from Dalek or Blackie to DGs best albums (No Love Deep Web, Government Plates, NOTM) and you are literally deaf if you think it is similar enough to warrant bitching about it.
