I don't know, maybe it's because I've known BODTF for longer and actually listened to their music more. I don't like it at all but I find something about that whole genre (them, Brokencyde, The Medic Droid, etc.) kitschy and hilarious and I get some kind of enjoyment out of that part of it. The stuff I really hate is stuff that goes for some kind of objective good and falls on its ass - sort of like how seeing a shoddy student film is in some ways preferable to a blockbuster with terrible acting, dialogue, etc. I dunno, that's just my personal taste.
