For most of my teen years, up till now (18) i've been listening to hip hop exclusively, with a tinge of jazz, classical, and rock. Yesterday I decided to see what the hype was about and listened to animal collective's merriweather post-pavillion. After that first listen i went and listened to it about 4 times yesterday, along with Sung Tongs and Spirit They've Vanished. Today I listened to Salad Days (so good!) and 2. what else is there out in the world of music that I might also like?

I saw Mac in Chicago last month and it was the worst concert I've been to. The crowd ruined it for me, they were unbearable. I've been to a lot of concerts and seen some shitty crowds but this one knocked it out of the park. Mac was great, but I just couldn't enjoy the show because people were crashing into me like tidal waves. I had to save a dude from being trampled because he got crashed into and ended up twisting his ankle.
