Jesus, change that banner man. It's awful... And if it comes to music, well, I get that Caretaker feel. It's really present in your track. The collage is quite good although I think there are too little layers for it so it could get a bit interesting in a long run. But indeed, a good track. But nothing to hold much on it.
>>60802163
It's... um... I have no words. Either this few seconds grindcore is really, really weak or I'm really deaf. It's not kicking me in any way. And between and me there is this blockade of silence, like a wall - have you EQ this thing? But yeah... This concept would be cool-ish if it wasn't for that awful silence which makes every sound pulled-back.

>blockade of silence
I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about. I'm still learning how to properly mix songs with vocals, but I think that blockade of silence has something to do with the mic I'm using. I'm not sure though, I could be wrong. Anyways, thanks for listening and giving constructive criticism, it's very helpful.
>>60803070
Hey, this is cool. I love that jarring combination of IDM and other genres, really neet. It is a big piece however so I'd might get bored. But hell, it's very well produced and created with a really nice idea behind in. Sign me up for that combo! And that cover is jolly awesome!
>>60802127
>>60803070 here. I'm glad you like the stuff. I tried to keep the sound varied throughout from more upbeat, straight IDM stuff to Industrial soundscapes, getting darker as the album progresses.
I'm checking out your stuff now, Organ Loop is really haunting, fits your artwork very well. I know I'll be listening to this on the long walks to work once snow starts falling. It reminds me a lot of the film Valhalla Rising a lot. Very bleak, mysterious and minimalistic. Very cool stuff. Downloading for sure. I'd definitely buy a cassette of this.

Recorded this a month ago within about the span of a month for Halloween, it's mostly older reject songs I curated and stuff I wrote specifically to fit the resurrection theme of this.
I worked on this as an experiment with a new production style, I wanted to make something like The Body Lovers, or Zappa's You Are What You Is, where each track cleanly segued into the next. Doing that required me to record a backing track that was made of a couple layers of free-improv ambient shit in different guitar tunings.

post-rock isnt typically my thing so im a little biased in saying it didnt jump at me really. sense of ornamentation is nice tho, like the guitars.

still working on that myself. glad you found your voice. this is produced very well. vocals are cool too.
>>60806434
honestly id appreciate opening up on the vocals. im sure it was a stylistic choice but i think a handful of these songs would benefit from having a clearer vocal. otherwise these are nice.
>>60806642
the whole band sounds a m a z i n g but the vocals feel p play to me personally. if thats what you were going for then cool but it would sound more rad imo if you the vocalist sounded a little more engaged.

okay, thank you! i'm spending a lot more time & attention on my next album. i want the songwriting to be more sincere and thoughtful, which i find happens naturally if i just stop thinking about the excitement of completing and releasing a record. i've done a lot of experimenting with guitar styles, trying my best to make music that's both diverse and cohesive. i want my music to be subtle but memorable.
i appreciate your advice
