Generally, you should be looking into genres without such a high saturation (AKA stuff that takes a lot of resources and time to make well), so generally avoiding vaporwave and trap may be a good idea. Not to discredit those genres, but their more commercial nature as well as general template allows for a larger creator base to form, thus oversaturating the market in said genre
So, just look where everyone else isn't. If you turn your attention to lesser-known artists and genres, you're more likely to find gems in a smaller and more focused community.
