science says that happens, ur brain gives less dopamine for good music after puberty. The only way to combat it is to develop a committed ear as a aficionado, producer or musician, or to just take drugs when you listen to new music.

No. Nearly all pop music already sounds like shit to me. I do find there to be plenty of variety within the stuff I do enjoy, so if I lose the ability to delve deeper then that might be sad, but I don't see a huge change between "normies have terrible taste" and "children have terrible taste."
