Yeah they're my favourites. But both have supremely strong and interesting discographies. Sun Ra's Lanquidity is as good accessible starting point, and for Fahey you could just work through chronologically. But either way check 'em out

>>
>>60756144
>What makes you say that?
There's almost nothing on your chart that's actually recognisable. It's like you deliberately shied away from putting "entry level" albums on your chart and chose weaker but more obscure releases from the same genres. For example, you have that Ghost album in your top 10 but I don't see any early Pink Floyd, Can, Silver Apples or any of the classic psych bands that pioneered that sound anywhere on your chart. You have Massacre but no Henry Cow or This Heat. It's just confusing to me, perhaps I'm looking at it the wrong way or something?

I like your taste in classical, though. Ravel and Grieg are GOAT.
>>
>>60756501
The cart is definitely not a definitive one, just a running catalog of what I love currently
That Ghost album is one of my faves because I see it as the culmination as all the things I love about prog and psych, combined with the tinges of Japanese traditional music which I also enjoy quite a bit
Really, the only really famous albums that would be on there would be TMR and Spiderland, as well as maybe Faust. All the other stuff is pretty much what my favorite records are at the moment
>>
How do you make these? Can someone link website to create charts?

I never seem to be happy with the way my favorite albums are ordered in charts. Not even my Top 10. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Am I the only one who spends time trying to find a good album, then listen to it for a few days without being able to try something different the upcoming week? I just can't listen to multiple new albums in one week, even if I think they're good.

I feel the same way. Honestly I can't tell whether my chart is all time favorites or just what I'm into currently... Either way I change it pretty often.
>>
>>60760391
I usually listen to like 3 new albums every week, ex:
>listen to album #1 on monday, keep listening to it for a day or two
>then grab album #2 and listen to it for some time
>then listen to both #1 and #2
>then grab #3, listen
>listen to #1, #2 and #3
>look for more albums on sunday or listen to whatever i know and like.
It's not a strict rule, but it goes something like this ^
>>
Do you guys listen to complete discographies
or just listen to some albums from a band/musician?
>>
>>60760710
Mostly just some albums.

If i know i love some band then i'll try to listen to their whole discography, either start from best to any other that look interesting, or chronologically
