SH5 was actually one of the books that got me into reading deeper lit and was one of my favorite books for the longest time. It's just not that out there and deep when compared to peers of his time and whatnot. He's not bad at all, like i said, I love SH5 and a lot of his short-stories, but he's really just a step or two above the standard YA/genre fiction writer
