Word is that if you were there, the B-52's were legit the saddest story in music. They were a great, great band, subversive as hell and then when Ricky Wilson died, they were shellshocked as they didn't even know he was sick. Then when they came back, they sort of 'sold out' but it was kind of triumphant and no one blamed them at all. They had earned it.
