sgt pepper isnt really a concept album
>>60696657
Thats not sgt pepper's, it's "We're Only in It for the Money" by The Mothers of the Invention

I can tell there's more to it then i realize, I just cant seem to get how its a concept. Some of the things Jonathan says are like, why did he say that? And I'm sure it feeds the concept in some way I just dont really get what it is. Some songs are god tier like Chronic L and #nofilter. Mars In Virgo was cool too. But I couldnt get into that #fuckcourtneylove song and "This Kinda Music".I'd say hes a great artist but the album wasn't consistent enough for me. Then again, I dont smoke weed. Loved the production. Not all the lyrics. Dont understand why some songs were so much worse than others which were amazing. Not shitting on the album but it did leave me pretty confused.

understandable reaction. lots of lyrics connect the songs and even the track listing gets referenced in some lyrics. even i only kind of get it so dont feel bad. last track basically explains the whole album but its really indirect about it so idk if that will help you.

The Residents have a lot of great concept albums. Not Available is probably their best, but I don't have that picture saved.
