>we only come out at night
>peg
it's not what you think it is
>Bound 2
>buggin
>>60689636
>those fart sounds
I mean it shouldn't work but it adds such a charm to it. Not near my favourite tracks on that album but is one I find really fascinating.
The last three songs are very not good. The rest of the album is top-notch.

>Soothe
>>60689636
agreed 100%
>>60689728
It feels like it came too early in their sound progression, would have worked better on Adore.
Heroin
>>60689912
Heroin is typical of Lou reed's journalistic writing style, includes some of the best instrumentals on TVU&N. Need I go on?
>>60689912
Fuck you desu
>>60689912
are u a fucking moron
Soft as Snow (But Warm Inside)
It isn't a weak song by any means, I really enjoy it. It's just worse than every other song.
>>60689912
Venus in Furs is the correct answer
>>60690817
wha...
>>60689656
>hating Peg
What the fuck is your problem?
>Back To School(Mini Maggit)
>>60690817
The answer is objectively "There She Goes Again", it's the most bland song on there, anyone could have recorded it. It's good because Lou sang it and it has the cheesy backing vocals, but it pales in comparison to literally everything else on the album
>>60689912
agreed. overrated pretentious shit
Hard to pick, but...
>Treefingers

>>60690817
>>60691115
>>60691183
too be honest. i think The Black Angel's Death Song is the worst..
>>60691252
I dunno, the bass part playing the tremolo scales wins me over
>>60691200
>not optimistic
I love optimistic but it's quite out of place in the album in terms of sound
>>60691361
yeah, but the whole song isent that special, be honest, the album is prefect, my opinion, the greatest album of all time. but i feel it kind of goes a little down hill after heroin,There She Goes Again,I'll Be Your Mirror,The Black Angel's Death Song and European Son are not bad tracks, but i feel don't hold up well compared to the others.
>>60691361
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, but at least it has a tune and isn't just an ambient track (even tough it's still a great track).
Any "female" track on any MF DOOM record , Viktor Vaughn's Let Me Watch is the only exception
>>60691435
I think European Son is the perfect end, it's like the tension which has been bubbling up through the album is finally released.
>>60691440
>Isn't just an ambient track
Anon that was a pretty plebby thing to say.
Most artists would give their frontal lobes to make something with that much atmosphere. Treefingers serves as a perfect transition between the two halves of the album
>Claudia Lewis
>>60691545
Whaaaaat
>mfw slap bass
It's difficult, but the only song anywhere close to not perfect is "What you Want", and that's only because the production is comparatively thin compared to how warm the rest of the album is
>>60691537
Which is why I added (even though it's still a great track). I completely agree, it's a perfect transition and has lots of gorgeous texture, especially with it being all done on guitar.
>>60691635
>especially with it being all done on guitar
yeah, that bit always blows my mind. It sounds good regardless of that, if it had been made with keyboards it would still be 10/10
>>60691654
Well it wasn't really done on guitar. It's heavily edited samples of Ed playing guitar.
>>60691470
Guinnesses is one of my favorite tracks off Mm Food tbqh
