New Gibbs was kinda disappointing. Went back to Mezzanine after loving Dummy and enjoying it more and more. Cabezas de Cera is some Mexican jazz-fusion/experimental band that some anon rec'd on the LA general thread, bretty gud.

Start at the beginning with OPN, this newest release is quite a bit different than previous ones.
Also it's the Oh! Mountain fishman's album, searching around it is indeed a live album, didn't sound like it at all.

If you liked Pinata mainly for Madlib's production and really didn't care for Gibbs' flow/lyricism, then no. If you enjoy Gibbs outside of Pinata like on features and his other projects, sure. Just don't expect to get the more soul/jazz samples from Pinata and expect some trap.
