I think you replied to the wrong guy, I love most of Rome's stuff although Die Aesthetik is certainly my favourite. Saw him live in Leipzig recently. The concert was fine, but Rome is obviously a studio project. In a live setting the music loses most of its martial aesthetic and sounds like regular rock music.

Not him but hell money has some of my favorite moments from Rome despite being his weakest album as a whole. I feel the same way about confessions... being his second weakest but having many of his most memorable specific moments.

He's a "third positionist" or some shit. Meaning that he takes extreme political ideas from both facism and communism. iirc most of his political ideas came from a pair of brothers in the nazi party who were killed for criticizing Hitler for not being socialist enough. But I can't remember their names and I don't remember the details of their political position. He is a racist and a nationalist though, I'm nearly certian. The problem is he likes confusing people so it's hard to get strait answers on his political and social beliefs.
