I liked this well enough but I don't think the dawldling intro did it any favors. Personally I think you need to get right to the point with this kind of stuff.
>>60666530
I was all like "I think I've heard of Cough before" and I have because you're on fuckin Relapse Records, or at least were. You're a way bigger deal than anyone on the thread will ever be. And also really good.
>>60667487
I liked this a lot. It has just enough dissonance and darkness to build tension without interfering with the melodic-ness and that sort of general post-rocky pleasantness. I felt like the really distorted guitar parts were a little too gross, tone-wise. I kind of get what you were going for, because even the clean guitars had some grit to them so it makes sense for the distortion to be grimy. But it was nearly impossible to tell what was actually being played, which for me detract from the whole thing a bit.
>>60666208
Did you see the thing I posted last thread about studying Wagner? I had to go to work so I couldn't follow the thread. I still think it's a good idea. I don't know how much German opera you areadly listen, it's pretty distant from post rock in terms of genre, so it might help get you out of your comfort zone a bit. Also listen to my stuff lol. It's pretty far from yous too.

You have a staggering amount of content. How long have you been making music? Your releases only go back like a month.
>>60671174
do you release an album every day? holy shit lmao you need to make a greatest hits comp at the end of the year
>>60671174
Glad you like, mang. The only reason I said to shit on it was because I'm frequently ignored in these threads so sometimes I try to trick people into thinking it's going to be laughably bad when really it's just kind of weird. I'm glad you think it's good though. It seems to be pretty polarizing. I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of vaporwave stuff and probably not a good judge of what's good or not, but I found Fragments to be marginally more interesting to me than a lot of vaporwave because none of the ideas overstayed their welcome or tried too hard to be meme-ish.
