Not really. Shellac is basically the band Steve Albini always wanted to form; a bunch of cheeky assholes making simple-yet-angular rock music whenever they're not busy doing other music-related stuff. Straight forward, but still fairly nuanced. Great stuff.
Big Black and Rapeman are fine too.
steve albini bands would be better if he allowed bob weston to record and produce his music
