Oh God, Jason Molina's demons were so dark he fucking drowned is liver to avoid them.
Something that goes unappreciated is the guitar tones he uses on this album and Impala. They aren't remarkable from a technical standpoint, but they feel choked, as if he's playing in a sound-depriving room.
