To the people in the last thread regarding aesthetics:
I agree, HCTI is top-tier aesthetics. Many of their others artworks are up there too.
But I also find some of visuals found elsewhere, in music videos, etc, to really not be that great. Like it just doesn't match the greatness of the music to me. But of course I am biased. I prefer a certain type of...idk...like abstract expressionist version of the music. I think HCTI absolutely NAILS that. Some of the artwork for MPP nails that too. And I really love the Feels artwork, Person Pitch, Sung Tongs, really most of the albums. It's mostly other things (like recent Panda Bear visuals and music vids) that kinda make me groan. Some of the recent PB stuff is good tho. Not being dogmatic about it.

well, MPP had a massive reception and so CHz was highly anticipated. after CHz and Avey's slasher flick's, I think people expect something similar and don't care as much
CHz is still a great album because I find new details everytime I listen to it.
I don't want to live in a world where MPP is considered their best work by normies.

It saddens me to say this, but I think they peaked. It's normal, they're in their late-30's, their music just won't be able to relate to young people the same way. Each album in the past redefined what AnCo was, what they sounded like, etc. This one , (from the vocaroo's) sounds like more of the same. Now I could be wrong, and I'm basing this off of the shitty cellphone clips, but still I'm not getting good vibes from this at all.
