Nice, I fucking love thai classical music. i love some batshit woodwind solos, if you listen to some piphat it sounds like free jazz but composed in the 15th century. Everyone should check out "Siamese Classical Music Volume 1" by Fong Naam (i don't have a link but it's on spotify)
it's almost turkey day here in the US and I'm enjoying myself some Thai court music.
This is probably my favorite recording of thai trad I've heard so far.

ok i'm listening to this right now and i like it a lot. those xylophones are so cool, reminds me of some Austronesian trad i heard that was lead by bamboo xylos. also like that the comp you shared samples all the variety in thai trad, those Khruang Sai strings and the Piphat perc/winds
