Adele's album is far from a 5/5 album.
It's quite clear Adele's album is only getting pimped out to help the music industry in some way but many people are already disappointed in buying the album because it absolutely blows and has only 1-3 good songs on at it at best.

We live in a society that teaches people from a very young age to do whatever they are told, and follow the leader. This is especially ingrained in them once they start school.
As a result most people cannot function, and don't even want to function, without someone else telling them what is okay, and what is not. Or what they should listen to and what they shouldn't.
Rolling stone gives everything that's even a little experimental a 3.5/5. It's their go to number when they don't know how they feel about something.
