Mine would have to be Aesop Rock

In recent years, it has been Aes for me too. I mean, he always has been dope for the most part, but while other rappers have fallen off at some point or another, he seems to get better with age. Especially as a producer.

John F Kennedy is probably the best

None shall pass was slightly disappointing but still great just dont think much compares to labour days, skelethon or bazooka tooth

Well, to me Bazooka Tooth has been his worst solo effort.
To me it's pretty much this:
Skelethon > Float > None Shall Pass > Labor Days > Music For Earthworms >>>> Bazooka Tooth
Also, I've read that they had to change up a lot of the production on None Shall Pass at last minute because they couldn't clear the samples. I'd love to listen to those originals, man.

Is he an Earth Rocker?
>>60583519
No. Hes imo the king of the indie scene either him or MF DOOM
Either Aes or Eyedea
>>60583511
I agree with you on the bazooka tooth thing, but headphone science version is way better than the original.. kind of IDM-y

>aesop rock
>mf doom
>indie
The Cat Food EP is fantastic and I hope that his next solo album will kind of sound like this.
Last year's Bestiary was awesome too.
To those who missed it. A recent Atmosphere song that featured Aesop Rock and Blueprint.
