I'm gonna get my first synth soon and have no idea what to get; looking at korg ms-20 mini or Roland gaia sh-01, but want to get into sampling and sequencing too. Any advice?
Don't get a Gaia
for babby's first generic synth/sampling...go digital/virtual analog.
as far as what to buy, what's your budget? whatever you do, do not buy shit like the microkorg or microkorg xl, or gaia (unless you want to be the ultimate pleb).

OP here, my budgets around £500-650, anything decent for that.price?
My first analog synth was an Arturia Minibrute. Despite having a 2 octave keyboard, it was a pretty rad synth for only having 1 VCO. Since then I've passed through a Moog Sub Phatty and currently own a Korg ARP Odyssey, which I think is pretty spectacular in terms of a reissue. Pic related
also pay no mind to the Minimoog Model D, helping my friend sell it ;)
