>I can see a palm tree from my chair
>So I don't really feel like going anywhere
>But even if I do
>It's really of no use
>Cause all roads lead to you
Pretty much my state of life right now. Funny thing that the 4chan clover is also called a palm tree.

Of Montreal - The Past is a Grotesque Animal because I just got out of a long long term relationship and had a pretty bad breakdown afterwards. I'm not sure, if I objectively stepped back, whether it would be so emotional though.

Explosions In The Sky - The only moment we were alone-
We talked and talked, as we usually did, as I drove her to her house. As we are arriving, she put's this song on, quietly, and it plays as she gets off the car. I ask her not to do anything stupid this summer, look at her smiling and pray to every god I don't believe in she would feel how much I love her and in that moment love me back, then I continue my 350 something miles drive, that eventually led me to another country, where again the only thing I thought about was her and being with her again.
This song was in repeat for over two hours, as I drove around green hills and this beautiful, banal forests. God damn it, even the way the sunrays broke in hundreds of beams crossing through my windshield felt awesome, I was feeling, for the first time in many many years, complete. Or nearing some kind of completion that would make everyhting in life make sense at last. I didn't feel alone anymore.
I felt I was so close of smelling her hair, her breath, I could remember caressing the skin of her soulders as if from another life, another reality where this would have happened, and by patience, honesty, will power, I had opened a portal to this dimension- I was about to be... happy.
She was going to be mine, as I was hers.

Mineral - For Ivadell
With this song I got off bed one afternoon and realized I had to snap out of it.
The winter sun was warming my skin, and I looked at my hands shining in its cold rays. I would never feel her again. We had drifted so apart, so quick, it was like we had never even had spend those months together. It's as though my memories were just fake memories from one of my stories. Did she even remember she knew me at all? I can't believe, when we stumble upon eachother nowdays, that once we were a part of each others stupid lives.
I felt this strange thing in my chest, I don't know, volition, a sort of motivation. I picked up a book of short stories I was determined to forget she liked so much and went to the park to read a bit.
