ITT: Post an album that you wish /mu/ cared more about.
It's pretty popular on here, friend.
I love the album, but the next time you feel a good album isn't loved as much, check the archive.
>>60549531
but that takes le effort
>>60549534
i feel this
a little too popular for /mu/ but still a great album

>>60549534
Amazing album, should be better respected
>>60549500
>>60549589
both are pretty popular here though
okkervil river clone desu
>>60549563
>a little too popular for /mu/
fucking contrarian faggots
>>60549791
I love both, but Ty Segall also gets shit on by garage rock revival purists.
Does anybody realize this album exists?
this and songs for dustmites
doesnt help that pic related only exists as a tiny little 320 folder with two tracks only available on youtube and myspace
i wonder what actually happened to the release of dsre
>>60550596

>>60549500
Uhh, this album is amazing. Such hard hitting feels.
>>60550710
Glasper is a beast
Everything Billy Bragg.
>>60549500

>>60549534
Agreed
Another one mu shits on because of its popularity and fanbase
>>60551733
So true. Such a shame.
>>60550535
Listening to this now, it's great anon thank you.

A lot of feels on this one.
One of my favorite soundtracks from one of my favorite movies.
>>60552207
Good sleeping music.
>>60549534
Pretty great album
>>60552207
I've only seen this in share threads. I didn't like it much myself but I can appreciate it for what it is
Every time I see a thread like this, I post this album
>>60552207
Like I'm supposed to care about shit I can't pronounce.
>>60552241
It's great for road trips & flights as well.
>>60552322
lets play spot the american
>>60552322
>he listens to music based on the name and languages
>>60549500
Nana Grizol and Defiance, Ohio are fantastic.
But I wish Theo wasn't such a fucking faggot
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6Dd9wPxuV0
>>60549500
you fucks like weird experimental pop, don't you?
>>60549500
This but I always say that Ruth is the better album
>>60552427
good taste babe
>>60552403
Part of what makes Theo so great is how much of a faggot he is.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_lSUtiS8P8
or Red Apple Falls. or really any Bill Callahan/Smog album.
>>60552610
Apocalypse got some attention around here when it came out. Haven't seen any mention of him here since then though. Bit of a shame.
>>60552924
god, i love that album. brings me back to childhood, I used to listen to it all the time then. that has to be the single comfiest album of all time
>>60552589
Dat lisp
>>60549500
who else is seeing them on the 11th?
>>60553250
shit they're touring again?
new album when
>>60553346
They just put out an ep thing on their bandcamp: https://nanagrizol.bandcamp.com/
>>60553250
Where?
>>60553419
"Just put out"
This shit came out in early 2014. And it's not nearly as good as Love It Love It, or even Ruth.
>>60554007
The Smell in LA
>>60552965 fuck yes
>>60550719
I wish Steve Burns continued to make music. Songs For Dustmites was surprisingly REALLY good.
>>60552965
>being this reatarded.
>>60552101
hell yes motherfucker
forreal tho
easily Xiu Xiu's best, one of the best albums of this decade.
>>60551671
I love how home made this album sounds.
You feel like you're right there in that lonely ranch with nowhere to be.
And the music is just so in touch with the lyrics.
I feel like I'd know exactly what was being said just with the instrumentation alone.
Damn good album. I like listening to it in the car while it's raining heavy.
>>60549500
Never heard of this before now, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
I know pic related gets mentioned on here occasionally, but I think their last 3 releases have been outright fantastic. Despite the fact that their sound isn't really niche at all, I very rarely see them discussed on here anymore.
>>60549500
I love Loveless, but this is better than Loveless, damnit
>>60549500
Thank you, anon, its just what i`ve been looking for.
>>60549500
>CIRCLES ROUND THE MOON IS THIS WHY CITY LIGHTS FEEL SO AWFUL?
>>60552444
came here to post this, fucking amazing album
>>60555528
>IT SHOULD BE UNLAWFUL
>>60555652
>TO LIVE WHERE YOU CAN'T SEE THE STARS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaBXx5lOipw
>>60555689
just go to any /emoe/ thread bro. they love irtes of psring
>>60555689
>>60555818
Yep it's like ITAOTS of emo threads
>>60555845
>Yep it's like ITAOTS of emo threads
i think American Football is more like the ITAOTS of emo really.
>>60555962
true forgot about that one
>>60549500
tfw i was on omegle like 2 years ago
i put /mu/ as one of my interest... and a girl who was kinda cute recommended me nana grizol.
whenever i listen to that album i think of her...
i only talk with her for like 5 mins.. but she seemed pretty cool...
>>60552539
THIS
>>60552001
not better than remain in light but prob their second best
>>60552924
dece, worse than lennon or harrison's solo stuff though
>>60554966
I argue that when the sun hits is better than any track on loveless but loveless is better overall
This is my pick, so relaxing and much better than ladies and gentlemen in my opinion
>>60549500
It sucks it might as well be Bandcamp music
>>60557741
you could post literally every spiritualized album that isn't ladies & gents
well maybe all except for amazing grace
Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if none of you faggots had even listened to this masterpiece
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yV9f4w9SXEc
>>60557776
the only ones that I've heard are lazer guided melodies > pure phase >> ladies and gents, are his other albums any good?
>>60557780
Actually posted this around 5 times on /mu/ usually goes without a reply till the thread locks. I'm going to sit here refreshing for hours and watch the same thing happen again.
I believe his next album will be within the year, oh i'm going to spam /mu/ so hard about this.
>>60557780
reply
>>60557780
i have listened to it
in my country they are everything
>>60557516
You know it was probably a guy right?
>>60551671
I really prefer vivadixie and It's a Wonderful Life. I'm especially surprised the latter doesn't get talked about more often, It's amazing. I just find that on those albums the sonic qualities and stellar production shine through and make more justice to the songs themselves.
>>60557784
let it come down, songs in a&e and sweet heart sweet light are all fantastic as far as i'm concerned
>>60549500
easily
>>60554505
Ayyy
>>60558023
She was on cam talking to me
>>60552207
RIP Uchuu Konbini. I'm still mad that I never managed to see them live before they broke up.
