the work of the beatles can be divided in two: first they were just a band as many others of their time but they had a lot of media support and were sell as the great band of all time. in this first part of their work, they promote the way music were going to be composed for the time ahead, that form is A B A B C B. 99% of pop song have that form. anyway, they were not the only band of the time composing like that, they just promoted that form and helped the indistry to established it. this is the "influence" that the beatles had in western culture.
the second part of their job is their "experimental" work. also, a lot of bands produce music in that way, no big deal about it.
they produce a lot of music in a short time, ok, its fine.. a lot of others artist also did that, in that time and now.
