I know /mu/ hate fun., but have you guys give this album a shot?

The Format are so much better
aim and ignite tries way too hard to be theatrical and quirky that it just makes me puke
>>60514827
This one seemed to flamboyant for me, I actually prefer Some Nights but I can't see myself getting into them any further
I remember when this, MPP and hospice was all /mu/ could talk about, before fun went "too mainstream".

Silly really considering the fuss about Kendrick, Kanye, Bjork and Bowie. Not that I dislike them but they're all pretty mainstream too
I like it

times have changed
We Get It, You Like Queen: The Band

fun. went mainstream by making meaningless, soulless trite. Of course that's going to change /mu/'s opinion.
>>60515238
nothing wrong with drawing a lot of influence from a certain band or an era
>>60515282
Yeah, no argument there, I personaly don't enjoy htme very much anymore.
>>60515306
No idea how I fucked up the word them that much
It's my favorite Nate Ruess album. His new one isn't bad either, but I'd rank both Format albums above it. I mostly just dislike Some Nights; its got a few decent songs, but a whole lot of schlock. And of course that's the one that had to get popular. Thanks, Glee!
Fuck that pig-nosed bitch and that cocksucker guitar player.
