wow really unique taste
Best place to buy blank cassettes? I don't see them at thrift shops that much anymore, the dollar store stopped carrying them, and big box stores stopped carrying them years ago.

I always get my stuff from tapeline. Pretty good variety (low stock sometimes though) and not too expensive.

I also have bought from tapeline before, I wanted to experiment and put out some fancy acid on different coloured tapes - stuff I had already put out on CD, sort of as a feeler for the market. I can confirm they do a pretty awesome service and you get the occasional rarity as well, I can recall the dude selling old BBC archive tapes for example. I also spoke to the fella over the phone because a certain colour of case was out of stock and he was really friendly and helpful, would recommend.

it's weird glitchy plunderphonics stuff that sounds like a hellish yoga class. snag a tape if you like it.
to keep it on topic, what are some of your favorite tape netlabels?

I run a nonprofit and diy tape label. Mostly different experimental releases so far. Next one is some noise/cybergrindesque stuff and then drone.

Still need stuff. Cassette singles are hard to find =(
yo, we're cellar door tapes. we just put out our eleventh release.
"pseudio recordings" by wished bone is a cassette-recorded folk record with some of the best songwriting i've ever heard.
limited run of 25 tapes, half are already gone. don't miss out on this one, it's so solid all the way through.
