I'm in fucking Alaska, no good bands come through here. Haven't been to a show for probably at least two years.

oof that sucks. sometimes i wish i lived somewhere desolate like that but it's nice living in a big city (NYC) where bands are always playing, even when they're not on tour

I saw PiL in NY a few days ago. Next month I'm seeing Dinosaur Jr. in NY. They're gonna play Dinosaur in its entirety and then do a bunch of songs with unannounced special guests.

its pretty cool. unfortunately the money isnt there so i can't do it fulltime but once or twice a week just helping out is pretty neat. start lifting weights and hit up venues. or just apply for event security jobs and see where it gets you. depending on the area, it can be actually dangerous or telling kids to stop smoking indoors.
