Help me out /mu
Im searching for a special music genre at around 75-80 beats per minute.
I've heard this genre in a drum and bass and jump up night club and there were only 2 songs with this specific pace.
Anyone know what it could be? Its not drum and bass, it some sort of house, only slower..
Also whats your favourite jump up song, /mu?

Did it have a similar pattern of kick drum like drum n bass, or was it a straight 4/4 kick drum beat?

It was neither similar drum and bass nor jump up.
If you take a house song and slow it down a little bit, i think you'd have it.

BUT it DID have some kind of jump up appeal
listen to 00:00 - 00:20 www .youtube.com/ watch?v=RVjYaFlPv-8 , this is the exact pace and beat.

It could be some type of garage or dubstep/dub, although it usually has a break beat like drum n bass, just at half the speed. House generally doesn't tend to be that slow, it's normally 100-130bpm

Just checked it out on youtube, unfortunately thats not it....
Im positive that very many dnb songs have this genre added into them.
For example:
Sunday crunk

Pastanian Express

Shameful self bump

It's not a genre then, it's just a kinda breakdown. You need the contrast of a slower section compared to the faster main parts (especially as it's hard dancing non-stop to anything 160bpm+) but it's not a genre. For it to be a separate genre, it'd have to be an entire track, not just 10-30 seconds worth

These were just examples of the pace and beat.
It did play 2 or 3 full songs with this exact speed.

Something like this?

Not really... mine has a constant beat, like the example pastanian express, there is only this beat almost the whole song

No this is way too slow.
It has a jump up beat
It is like a 'chill' or relaxed jump up
