I'd basically carved out a decent life for myself back in my hometown, I had a job, I had like 7 or 8 really close friends and was on really great terms with pretty much everyone else I graduated with, most of whom went to college in my hometown. Once I got down here and met a few people I realized that a lot of the people I was going to school with placed a lot more importance on their actions than I try to, and I really couldn't keep up. The only times I've been really happy down here have been under the influence of drugs I wouldn't have even tried if I were back home, and I don't wanna pay thousands of extra dollars just to get a coke habit and a degree from a school that's still essentially a state school like any other
