Favorite bandcamp/lesser known SONGWRITERS you love, kind of like this guy? No car seat headrest of your own stuff, pls. no particular style, either just someone unknown who you think is a great songwriter/lyricist.
ambient/electronic stuff need not apply here.
just feel like there are probably some really under-appreciated songwriters out there. who's the bandcamp equivalent of elliott smith, /mu/?

if he wasn't such a prick/hypocrite as a person i'd probs still be listening to his stuff now. goner is the only release i can stomach anymore.

he comes off as a bit sensitive but i dont really know, just saw some tweets of him so dont really care
nick rattigan definitely deserves more attention. ever since i found out about him ive played his music to death. i showed him to my friend and now hes one of his favorites too. hes put out so much great stuff and im glad to see hes gaining more recognition. hes in a band called surf curse too but his solo stuff is where he shines. he used put out music under the name tele/visions but he decided it didnt fit the music anymore so now hes called current joys. i called him on his last radio show and told him about how much i love his music lol

just read the lyrics and trust me. This album is more like alex g than the next one, but I like both. Probably this one better. straight outta bandcamp threads too OP. indie cred unstoppable.
bumpity, good stuff in here

he tweeted multiple times about how much he hated the front bottoms, how you could "play their whole discography with 3 chords," how they're tumblr bullshit etc. & now he's opening for them all of the sudden.
just acts like he has principles then goes back on them. puss move.

woah, this guy is great, you have any others?
This guy is less active now, but he used to play house shows in my city all the time a few years back. Still one of my favorite records out of Iowa City.
