Holy shit how did I miss this thread. BRUH if there is going to be one, it will have the same basic mechanics of ska but will bring on something new. 70s 2tone brought rocksteady, jazz, and reggae with a bit of energy while the 90s brought more skate punk into the sound. The new wave could start real soon. But what will they build on top of the basic mechanics? Stacked Like Pancakes and Kill Lincoln still stick with the skate punk sound. Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto, Mad Caddies, Goldfinger, Voodoo Glow Skulls, etc. are still going and show little sign of stopping. BRRRUUHHHHHHH SOOO PUMPED 2 SKANK. Too bad I found ska in the 2010. I missed the glory days.
