I'm actually going through this right now with Signs Reigns Rebuilder even though I've come around to the album. There are some really, really good parts of the album, but given how I listen to music I've always found myself falling asleep halfway through, even if I'm enjoying it.
Odd because I can make it through both of the recent SWANS double albums just fine, it's that I think the album intentionally takes its time and doesn't really try to fill every second with good stuff.
