Recently I've released a split album with UK's Concrete/Wound where we tackle the human/civilization vs nature aspect of life.
I also have a one-track EP entitled "Five A.M." where I deal with the space between unconscious and conscious, tiredness, brink of thought and echoes of day-to-day.

I think you guys should work on your compositions. Hard.
I'm halfway through the album and until now all I've heart is "we have a cool loop, let's play it for 9 minutes". Not the way to go niggas.
Keep trying, composing is cool once it 'clicks'.

I like the organic blip-blops but the beats and synths could really use some phattening up. Right now it's halfway between containing "bangers" and "atmospheric shit" which, as we all understand, means it's pretty meh and for no-one really.

this very much reminds me of something someone who lived in my parents house would make. overall i like it. nothing too amazing though, and some of the sounds feel weird on my ears. longer songs would be good, and i'm a dick for saying this i know, but plaese don't just do what you did for the longer song on this one and lop the same progression the whole time.

you just can't be afraid to take a break from trying to force out a part. let the music happen at it's own pace, but hen you do get some idea rolling, make sure you give a full sound, rather than just trying to write one instrument at a time.
i wrote this for the one guy in particular, but now feel like directing it to anyone having trouble writing varied parts for their songs.

You're saying because it says EP, it ruins the music for you. Does what it says really matter that much to you?
Plus is this not an EP?
Straight from Wikipedia: "An EP is a musical recording that contains more music than a single, but is usually too short to qualify as a full studio album or LP."
Plus cover art really shouldn't bum you out that much if it is what's ruining it.

I will start with saying I enjoy the "sub" atmosphere and I can see what you tried to do with the other instrumentation as the gentle el piano plays its motif in the background. But sadly it kinda stops there and it lacks certain dynamics to grab my attention to the fullest.
>>60396421
great. At times it feels almost a bit too hazy but the vocal samples, laid back production makes this almost a fav in BC threads. Nice work anon and you get my rex!
