Something like pic related but spookier and more ambient
>>60387954
Natural Snow Buildings is your friend
I like ambient with samples
Especially when it sounds like a radio station
I like Cage's Imaginary Landscapes
>>60387954
Stuff like Grouper?
I think Valet and Windy & Carl were similar but I can be wrong
>>60387985

ritual ambient might be down your alley, early current 93 if you havent listened already
>>60387954
I suggest Connan Mockasin - Forever Dolphin Love.
>>60387954
>psychedelic droney rock/folk
hexvessel is really comfy psychedelic rock + neofolk. not super drony but definitely worth checking out.

Raccoo-oo-oon - Is Night People
>>60387954
vibracathedral orchestra - double lp
>>60387985
Watch/listen to oddsac, at least for me it had the same effect
I wanna hear something that will completely blow my mind, I really don't care what genre I'm just bored
melancholy post-rockish stuff with chamber orchestration
stuff like slint, unwound, and a minor forest
I want some low tempo/ hip-hop with broken percursion, some touch of breakcore.
looking for some noisy screamo
>>60388261
try rachel's
>>60388022
listen to the caretaker's discog
more like this, droney, glitchy, whatever
>>60387954

metal as good as houdini
>>60388338
master of reality
Harsh noise without godawful edgy lyrics.
>>60388381
The majority of Merzbow's catalog or a History of Aids by Prurient. If you enjoy sound collaging, While You Were Out by Kazumoto Endo.

The Orb - U.F.Orb
theres a bit of house and dub in it tho, but you should like it
>>60388440

Industrial dub/reggae?
Something like html flower
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyecK3LsETU
>>60388697
Try "Merzdub"
Not a fan of FIDLAR's music, albeit very fun to mosh too. Punks is the only song I actually like by them, and I've been trying to find something like it, minus the screaming style vocals. I haven't explored Stoner or Sludge metal yet, but any recs where I can find more shit like this?

>>60388697
I actually made an industrial reggae album, but I trashed it because it was kind of retarded
Upbeat rocky shoegaze with actual decent songwriting and feels
>>60388575
the thousand knives of ryuichi sakamoto

>>60388758
You might like Houdini by Melvins
>>60388575
some of toro y moi's stuff is kind of like this
angelic vocals featuring long held falsettos or at least cool range and control with perhaps some sad sounding guitars or energetic drumming or something. Mainly examples of great vocal work.
>>60388867
Thank you for kairon;irse, i never would have found this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KxpQp5iN6s
an album of this please
>>60388575
Seconding this. I really love this album and I want something as emotional and atmosphetic as this.
Please.
I'm looking for an album that's like a cross between bossanova by the pixies and you're living all over me by dinosaur jr
>>60388230
Try Swans - Soundtracks for the blind. its a tough listen, but if you make it through its great. It *should* "blow you away" or whatever
I'm looking for either:
1. an album that encampsulates the darker, moodier songs off of Melody Echo Chamber's S/T, like Bisou Magique and Quand Vas Tu Rentrer?
2. Neo-Psychedlic Pop with beautiful vocal harmonies like certain tracks off of MPP (Also Frightenned, Guy's Eyes, and Taste) where Avey Tare and Panda sing in unison. I honestly think the genius of MPP, Person Pitch, and Brian Wilson presents Smile! is largely due to these gorgous vocal harmonies.
>>60387954
pocahaunted desu
Fun, almost pop music with unconventional convoluted/complex rythms and melodies
a la Talking Head's Remain in Light, Joanna Newsom, Can, and the first couple of songs on Shaking the Habitual by The Knife.
Has there ever been any Indie Folk with interesting instrumentation?
Something along the lines of Sludge Jazz, the closest thing i can remember is some fee jazz like Peter Brotzmann or Kaoru Abe, but even that is just the tone, not really sludge
Looking for neo-psychedelia dub like Sun Araw but good
Something like pic related - pop songwriting, noisy guitars, and yes I've heard the rest of the Flaming Lips' output
>>60391374
you tried Mercury Rev?
>>60389341
maybe Methodrone by Brian Jonestown Massacre?
I'm looking for some Beefheart-esque music, shit like Fire Engines which is pretty much beefheart does punk.
>>60391477
Every song by them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdGud-KdpTM
>>60391489
Not sure about the vocals initially but that's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for, cheers pal.
>>60391296
Sun Araw is good you fucking pleb
>>60387954
>>60389097
is this a humanoid bird or something
>>60391477
yeah tried mercury rev - fucking love em - but you're in the right ballpark
>>60389097
Your fedora looks a little too big m8
A mix of Bubblegum Bass and Industrial or Noise. Like if SOPHIE's 'L.O.V.E.' was a full album (and preferably meshed the two sounds better instead of the hard cuts back and forth).
https://www.soundcloud.com/msmsmsm/sophie-love
Instead of saying "more like this", why not describe 'this' so people who haven't heard it can make recommendations?
More songs like Overdone and Forest Fires, preferably someone with a powerful voice like Laurel Halo.
Give me Electro-Industrial with electric guitars, other than Reaper.
Looking for some interesting deathcore.
>>60388949
The Antlers - Burst Apart

>>60388949
