Id say Speaking in toungues is top tier everything else just borders bad music, except 1-2 songs on each album
Despite their God-tier status, I never think of them as an "albums" band. Remain in Light is their best, IMO, but I listen to the recording of Stop Making Sense more often than any of their albums
Why does /mu/ hate the late Talking Heads albums?
They surely don't surpass their most praised albums, but I don't think they're BAD bad.

Talking Heads wasn't a bad band. I can't stand these opinions on this board sometimes, but the first 4 albums(3 that are produced by Brian Eno) is pretty good. When they start getting into pop territory (speaking in tongues and so on) that's when they become bad. Many people like Speaking in Tongues, but personally i don't care much for it.
This board has a hive mind mentality, and there's not a lot of discourse going on. Most of the time this board talks about the same highly regarded albums by this board and that's it.
