Look for the chart for techno on the /mu/ wiki, it has a lot of good albums on there.

OP, if you want to basically follow techno's birth and evolution from the mid-80's to the mid 90's in Detroit, listen to these youtube playlists (find more on my channel). They're mostly chronological, not comprehensive but close.
KMS, Transmat, Metroplex and Underground Resistance all have tons of classics and basically birthed and molded the genre in its early years.
