singing in tune is really really simple, you just have to recognize when you're out of tune and adjust, and even if you suck the adjustment will still usually be slight
when people say "i cant sing" what they're really saying is "i dont want to sing because im self concious and have convinced myself i cant sing"

try using your diaphragm to control inensity.
sing but put pressure in it..imaging the force you put when taking a dump. your diapgragm hardens.that's what you need to excercise so relax it and tense it evrydyay and you'll realize soon that you'll start singing better
